The most technological conference center in Bucharest was launched: NORD Events Center by Globalworth
Universum Events and Globalworth launch the NORD Events Center by Globalworth project. Thus, the entry into the event venue market of the newest and most complex conference center is announced, having an architecture and introducing the Turnkey Solution concept.
Awarded with the appearance in “FT 1000 – Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies 2020”, by the Financial Times, UNIVERSUM Events is the largest organizer of corporate events in Romania. In its 15 years of existence, it has brought together over 500,000 participants, in over 2000 of successfully realized events. From technology and real estate fairs, to team buildings and conferences. In all UNIVERSUM brand events, the imprint of the “event architecture” philosophy can be found – originality, memorable experiences, and focus on concrete results for customers.
With over 12 years of experience in the area of large-scale events, the Venue Management division was spun off from Universum Group, with the objective of developing and operating event spaces designed from the outset to cover all the needs of an event organizer. The new division is a specialist event venue management operator with the aim of providing complete turnkey solutions for the full range of needs of a specialist organizer.
From the beginning, Globalworth and UNIVERSUM wanted to create a versatile multifunctional space, which would quickly become the primary option for event organizers, through the flexibility and speed with which the space can be adapted to any need, regardless of whether it is corporate events, conferences, congresses, mini-festivals, private parties, galas, fairs or exhibitions. The result was a unique events center in Romania, imposing with recognizable architecture, naturally integrating green spaces. The location includes three modern halls, equipped with complete equipment: audio, video, and state-of-the-art lighting. It has a total capacity of 1440 people.
An absolute record is represented by the fact that SUMMIT Hall benefits from 100 square meters of LED. It stands out for its uniqueness, being the largest indoor screen with fixed installation in Romania and the largest project of this kind, LG brand, in Europe, at the time of installation. The ultra-slim LED screen, with a height of 5m and a width of 20m, offers an impressive, immersive, and unique viewing experience, through a pixel pitch of only 2.50 mm and a brightness of 800 cd/m2. In total, in the 3 halls of the NORD Events Center by Globalworth event complex, fixed LED screens are installed in an area of 200 sqm, thus becoming the most modern and technically fully equipped event location in Bucharest.
For the organizers who will choose NORD, the Turnkey Solution concept means access to the event space equipped with the latest technology, for the audio, video, and lighting part, quick access to the Pipera metro station, catering preparation spaces, and technical rooms for teams and artists. Although still in the soft launch period, NORD Events Center by Globalworth hosted an impressive series of events, during which more than 10,000 visitors passed the threshold, among which we mention: Internetics Gala, Moldavian Wine Vernisage, Imobiliarium Fair, Conferences DevTalks, and DevCon, as well as a significant number of corporate conferences of multinationals based in the Northern area of the capital.
